Surveys
McCoy Alternative Power Reports will conduct surveys at mid-year and year’s end, although we are willing to do a survey quarterly if the demand is demonstrated.
Surveys ask the manufacturers for the following information:
- Customer
- Wind farm name and location (city, state, country)
- Each unit capacity: name plate MWe, number of units, model name/number
- Month/year ordered
- Month/year shipped
- Month/year installed
- Month/year operational
In the future, surveys may include questions about transmission line plans, substation availability, and other related issues.
